Darz and Warb have been mates for ages, and whilst concentrating on different projects, both knew of each other’s love for the one thing that unites them – house music baby!!
And so the Brothers of Woo were formed. Two guys having a good time playing house music they have the time of their lives whilst they are playing and that rubs off on the crowd. For the Brothers of Woo are all about generating energy on the dancefloor, of which they have plenty in abundance, seeing the crowd go absolutely crazzzzzzzzy. It’s all about rocking n rolling 100% baby, its all about loving it, rocking with the crowd, interaction with the crowd is top of these guys agenda!
And so, a little bit about both of them. Darz, despite only been Djing 4 years has played nearly every London Premierleague club including the Ministry of Sound, Turnmills, Egg, The Brixton Academy, Studio 33, U4Ria, The Scala, Clapham Grand, The Coronet and Heaven to name but a few. Other London gigs played include the house rooms of Wildchild, Peach, Extreme Euphoria, Fusion, Lisa Time, Timeless, Convergence, Spiritualised, Progression Records, Frantic, Heat, Kurruption and Becomeone as well as many others. He has recently rocked the socks off one of Ibiza's best clubs in Eden for the famous Judgement Sunday night, whilst also djing around the island at the likes of Kanya, Itica and Savannah, and across England has played regularly at the likes of 2Kinky in Cheshire, Housewives Choice in Leeds, Alska in Leicester and the massive Passion night in Coalville.
Warb, more infamous for his production side than his djing has stirred up reactions such as these on Pete Tong’s Message Board with the masses;
''BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!BOOM!!!CRASH!!!!! holy mother f..... sh.t! wat a masssive tunnneee!!'' and ''Man ALIVE! That track is sheer FILTH, handed down by God himself !!!!”
The Brothers of Woo style will hit somewhere in the middle of Darz and Warb’s individual styles. Darz’s style is fresh and unique, and is described best as tough and driving techno-ey house, loving producers such as Sandy Wilhelm, DJ DLG, Laurant Pautrat, Tony Senghore, Digitalism, Mario Ochoa, aswell as the likes of Cirez D, Mashtronic, Doktor, Luke Dzierzek and Joachim Garraud. Warb’s influences include quality dance music acts like The Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Underworld, Norman Cook, right through to more recent DJ’s & producer’s such as Pete Tong, James Zabiela, Tiefschwarz, Josh Wink, Trentemoller, Nathan Fake and Sebastian Ingrosso.
The Brothers of Woo live and breathe music, and imparticular, dance music. Look for them coming to a dancefloor near you soon whether it be around the world, festivals or in some dingy back room, to share that enthusiasm whilst they rock the damn socks off the joint!
With gigs coming up in 2006 at some of the UK’s biggest and best clubs and further afield, this will launch the Brothers of Woo to being one of the UK’s leading up n coming house duos with a style completely unique to any others, damn right partytastic tunes!
