| Background: | Started djing at 15 in New Zealand. Did many years of mobile gigs. Started in clubs and haven't looked back. Decided in 1997 to make Djing my only job and worked as a Professional DJ for 6 years. Worked a 5 year residency at ROMA / GOLD in Tauranga NZ, as well as other gigs, finished there in Feb 2003. Moved to the UK in Feb 2003 with my main ambition being getting to play for a big promotion ...... and meeting lots of cool, new people. Within a month of arriving I had gotten a job at the mighty, and infamous Camden Palace as the Lighting Technician. Ended up working with many people who I always wanted to meet. Working with many fantastic promoters and meeting a huge amount of fantastic people.
Got to play my first big promotion on the 20th Feb ( my birthday too ) at Camden Palace with LIBERATION !!!. Did the first hour warmup, really trancey and happy, then did a 3-way B2B with the muscular El Greko & the gorgeous Donna Birt - well wicked !!
