More: Deck master and Gatecrasher favourite EDDIE HALLIWELL is making his much-anticipated return to Gatecrasher Birmingham on 31st March. The ultimate showman, Eddie will be presenting exclusive new tracks at the ‘Toolroom Knights’ album launch party. Eddie is joined by Toolroom’s own KIM FAI and futuristic dance music machine producer and KRYDER.

Toolroom Records is one of the biggest independent UK dance labels who celebrate working with both new and established DJs such as Fedde Le Grand, deadmau5 and now the DJing legend EDDIE HALLIWELL to form some of the most iconic house music to date.

Recognised the world over for his explosive DJ sets and creativity behind the decks, Toolroom Records have announced EDDIE HALLIWELL as the next DJ in their renowned “Toolroom Knights” series. Capturing the flavour of his live sets, Eddie Halliwell mixes of wealth of new music from the world’s finest labels alongside Toolroom favourites and new and exclusive productions.

EDDIE HALLIWELLisfamed for being the most frenetic and technical showman on stage in the DJ world – a young superstar of the dance music scene, Eddie has incredible stage presence, jaw-dropping skills and an almost telepathic ability to read a crowd… he returns to show the Gatecrasher crowd what he is made of.

Eddie said:

‘Gatecrasher was one of my first ever residencies so it’s always special to come back! It’s also quite close to home, so they’ll be a big team of friends and lots of familiar faces that I am looking forward to seeing.’

This Gatecrasher performance will see Eddie raise the benchmark with his production as he combines his technical wizardry with a full stage show that includes customised special effects and visual production set within the stunning Gatecrasher auditorium.

Eddie promises the ultimate DJ experience taking listeners on visual and auditory adventure. Recently been named as one of the new ‘Superstar DJs’ by Mixmag and nominated in its ‘Greatest DJs of all time poll’ EDDIE HALLIWELL has firmly secured his stance as a cultural icon in the world of dance music. His continued success has seen his radio show Fire It Up gather a global following of 10 million listeners, all religiously devoted to his fresh tunes and impeccable mixing capabilities.

EDDIE HALLIWELL may be the youngest talent among this list of dance music greats, but this bears no hold on his technical proficiency and awe inspiring stage presence. No other DJ reads and connects with the crowd as Eddie does, no other DJ can bring a room alive like Eddie and no other DJ comes anywhere near. Pioneer of dance music, Judge Jules gave his opinion on why Eddie IS the greatest DJ of all time: “Eddie looks in to people’s eyes and he performs. Incredible stage performance, incredible skills, and an almost telepathic ability to read a crowd – Eddie’s got everything.”

Adding some Toolroom magic is KIM FAI. Bursting out of Birmingham's club scene a few years ago he instantly seized the attention of the powerhouses Mark Knight, Swedish House Mafia, and Funkagenda. Fai has built himself a reputation of delivering solid productions and remixes for undoubtedly some of the world's hottest dance music label's. Kim's infusion of Techno & Minimalist House productions have gained support from some of today's most influential artists including Sander Kleinenberg, Mark Knight, Funkagenda, Umek, Carl Kennedy, Seamus Haji, ATFC, Exacta, Trophy Twins, Noir and Paul Thomas to name a few. He's previously remixed Funkagenda's “San Francisco” and “What The F*&k” the latter of which was supported by A – List DJ's world-wide including Roger Sanchez and reached #16 on Beatport's Tech House chart. And more recently his remix of Ricky Stone's “Shanghai Taxi” hit #1 at Djmag.com and #5 on Djdownload's Techno chart, remaining firmly in the top 20 for 3 weeks.

Completing the line-up is Manchester Promoter turned mysterious big-room boomer KRYDER who recently supported Halliwell on his Fire It Up tour. Behind the visor, Kryder (still as mysterious as he is anonymous) is the producer to look out for in 2012, with his dwarf sidekick - the classically-trained Dokta Kaotika - and a circus freakshow entourage. He supported Tiësto at Privilege this summer , his ‘K2’ record was signed to the Dutchman’s label and he’s getting props from R1 and Mixmag on a regular basis. Kryder has a deep, underground edge: progressive house overlaid with trance chords and atmosphere; his tracks like dark, magical postcards sent out across the world. Remixes have covered artists including Tinchy Stryder to Bryan Adams and Loverush UK, to Australian band Pnau, with the Kryder remix of their Solid Ground track receiving serious support on Radio 1. Bringing a sense of carnival back to clubland Kryder’s live set has to be seen to believed!.
