More: Next up... Phil Keiran hits DG in August!

Phil Kieran has been raising temperatures in the Worlds biggest and most revered clubs , playing everywhere from Fabric in London to supporting New Order in concert. Never the type to get pigeon-holed, Phil's DJ sets are unique; an eclectic recipe of techno, spiced with pinches of breakbeat and electro. Using this open minded approach Phil has been obsessively creating his across-the-board style of dance music since his teenage years.

A Phil Kieran production is always instantly recognisable as his own. Sure to deliver a dose of head-imploding basslines, skiffling glitches and an injection of razor sharp electronics. Kieran has teamed up with Funk D’Void, releasing four 12” singles on Soma Recordings. The collaboration combines acid-house nostalgia with flinty, broken-beats and the duo are scheduled to release an album together on Soma. On top of this, his band Alloy Mental have just released their debut album. An incisive call to arms, every track merges enigmatic and defiant vocals with melancholic guitar riffs, maintaining a tight footing on the outer edges of dance music.

Having travelled extensively with his DJing, Mr Kieran has "been around the world" more times than Lisa Stansfield, recently playing gigs in Indonesia, Brazil, Thailand, Singapore, Ibiza, Greece, Germany, Holland and Spain, regularly playing alongside International heavyweights such as Dave Clarke, Billy Nasty and Christian Smith. This paid off for him last year as he was awarded number 35 in the DJ Mag top 100 DJs. Catch him at Inigo for an intimate display of his talents on Friday August 3rd! We also have Bristol DJ Dan Wild down to help warm things up. His night at the Thekla, 'Just Jack', has garnered much praise from those in the know and we welcome him to the party!
