Here unfolds your invitation to the most exciting New Year’s Eve event to ever hit the capital! What started as a small house party in the promoter’s backyard has become a permanent fixture every New Year’s Eve at London’s premier music venue.
Heat NYE - The 1st Anniversary. 26 DJs / 4 Arenas of Adventure / 4500 passionate clubbers!
The line-up is the ultimate party. Tonight each arena will push its own talent and musical style. From the toughest house beats to the most uplifting euphoric sounds - it’s impossible not to find something here that’s going to rock your night!
Highlights this year include a party-fuelled classics set from Anne Savage to help us celebrate the last remaining hour of 2003. Seconds before midnight, K90 will take the stage for a spectacular live performance. This will be orchestrated with simultaneous video footage as we count down the passing of the New Year.
WARNING: as the clock strikes twelve stand well back from the main stage - we’re unleashing the biggest pyrotechnic display ever seen at the Academy. Once the smoke has cleared, check your watch and glimpse a brave new year.
Just like last year a player in each arena has been specifically chosen to perform the midnight countdown. Where ever you may be at midnight, this is your chance to spend the first few minutes of a brand new year in the company of friends!
If that’s not enough we also have Phil Reynolds and Spencer Freeland doing an exclusive NYE back to back performance. This is guaranteed to blow the roof off the Academy and have everyone talking for months.
This event has been one year in the making. After 12 months of intensive planning we’re ready to open the doors on the biggest underground party ever assembled.
Heat NYE marks a return to where we began in 2003...a year which saw us take 500 of the UK’s most up for it clubbers on a boat party to Holland to visit the best hedonistic nightspots in Amsterdam. Still the only Hard Dance promoters to host Space, Eden (Lashed), and Bora Bora in Ibiza all in the same whirlwind week! And let’s not forget the rebirth of the Saturday afternoon brand with events at The Cross. We’ll be flashing highlights of the year that was up on huge video screens, but the action doesn’t stop there...
Join us the next morning for the official afterparty - Heat NYD: Recovery (see full details on this flyer!) as Paul Glazby delivers his first ever 3-hour set in London. At the end of this event Extreme Drinks will donate a can of 'Extreme Chillout' to each clubber to help energise and prepare them for the New Year ahead!
