Saturday 21st July 2007 Ascendance On: Saturday 21st July 2007 At: The Swan [map] From: 18:00 - Close Cost: Free! More: Ascendance is back for July with yet more top music for you to feast your ears with. We'll be starting with some old skool house, then onto some breaks, moving through some trances and finishing with some psy-trance to finish the night off with. All of this in The Swan's cosy back room, where you can sit down, catch up, play pool, dance and drink without a care in the world! DJs: 18:00-19:30 - Darren Ling Darren has been a regular at Ascendance and has earnt his set here after coming out of DJ retirement and playing some great sets at the 414. He'll be pulling out all his favourite tracks from back in the day to start things off with. 19:30-21:00 - Jim Wild One of the Dirty DJs that took London by storm back in '03, Jim has been concentrating more on the production tip of late, but will be showing off his skills here with an Ableton Live breaks set. 21:00-22:00 - Stu Scott Stu came and warmed up for us a few months back and returns in July for a later slot to show off the more uplifting and energetic trance he plays. 22:00-23:00 - Ben Davis Promoter and resident for fellow Surrey based night Cyclone and recently back from taking Cyclone to Ibiza, Ben Davis will be sticking with the trance but giving it a slightly techier edge for those who like a bit of filth. 23:00-Close - Ped Resident layabout Ped takes the closing set this month and will be playing one of his trademark psychedelic trance sets that have yet to be seen at Ascendance but are staple parts of his other two residencies at Sunrise and Spiritualised.
