It's outrageous, stylish, and will make you move. You'll never look back.
Monika started her DJ carrier 1991 in Munich while she was studying sociology and working for a well-known record label as a product manager. Funk, Hip Hop and House influenced her early DJ sets. In 1993 she became a member of the Ultraworld Crew. Aside from her DJ'ing, Monika began to create her own musical productions. She released her first track in 1996, before she meet her "partner in crime" Patrick Lindsey. With whom she shared a very successful collaboration with more than 2 artist albums, 14 single EP's record releases and various remixes. After moving back to Berlin Monika formed two record companies: Terminals M and Electric Avenue Recordings.
Gregor Tresher began his career as a DJ in Frankfurt in the early '90s; today, he can be found plying that trade at venues around the world, from Berlin to Tokyo, Sydney to Los Angeles. Following two critically-acclaimed albums credited to his Sniper Mode alias, Tresher broke through as a producer under his own name via his 2005 releases Still and Neon, his remix of Sven Väth's "Komm," and his contribution to Cocoon's Compilation F, "Full Range Madness." His 2008 classic "A Thousand Nights" was the year's best-selling Techno track on Beatport and introduced Gregor to a larger audience.
AKA Him_Self_Her. The pair had clocked up almost ten years of hard graft as solo artists; DJing in sweaty back rooms, plastering Leicester city centre with posters and struggling against a tired Midlands club scene, before they made the life changing decision to work together. But these ten years weren't wasted, for they were perfecting their craft; learning from the headline DJs, taking influence from the many different styles and genres that came and went through the decade and developing a deep knowledge of beats, bass, and.. most importantly.. how to ignite the dancefloor.
