More: The Gallery proudly presents European spinners M.I.K.E and Remy for their first Turnmills sets of 2004 this Friday night. Both DJs have become firm favourites here at The Gallery over the past few years and on top of that M.I.K.E and Remy are two of clubland’s finest producers to boot. M.I.K.E is of course the DJ behind Push, the producer responsible for groundbreaking tracks like Univeral Nation and Strange World. He has undoubtedly inspired us all on the dancefloor and we can’t wait to have him back this weekend. Remy is the original Dutch export. Forget your bacon and your clogs, Remy was the first DJ we used to book from Holland, long before the likes of Ferry, Armin and Tiesto.

But the fun doesn’t just stop there though, oh no because joining these two DJ stalwarts will be the Filterheadz, Gleave Dobbin, Steve Lee and Tim Davison. For quite some time now, the Filterheadz aka Bert Wilmaers and Maarten Wilmaers have been causing a storm down at The Gallery with some incredible remixes (Eddie Amador, Tiesto and Bedrock to name but three), but for the first time ever you’ll get to see the boys live this Friday night as they make their exclusive Gallery debuts. The Filterheadz also produced one of last year’s biggest tunes - Tomaz Vs Filterheadz ‘Sunshine’ on Carl Cox’s Intec records..... a track that was caned by just about every DJ here at the club at some point or another and a track so big that Carl himself did a remix for it together with Gallery fave Scumfrog. Filterheadz are also launching their new mix compilation, Tribalicious on Friday. Making your Gallery debut is quite a milestone in a DJs career and over the past 8 years we’ve entertained pound for pound just about all of the world’s biggest DJs at some stage or another. Catch this very special debut from midnight before Gleave Dobbin (The Met, Armagh) drops some tough tech-trance late on before handing over the reigns to the one and only Steve Lee who’s back in the main room this weekend fresh from his hugely successful stint in T2 hosting the new Balearic backroom party Joy. This week’s warm up spinner is Tim Davison, a very accomplished DJ who makes his main room debut on Friday after catching the eye with his deep house mix in T2 at the end of last year.

Going Places return with a bang to The Gallery this week to host another pumping tribal session in T2. This month’s Adventures in International House Music see the gang give a full UK debut to Widenski, one of the leading players on the Estonia dance scene. Born in the capital city of Tallinn, Andrius Videnski, to give him his real name, began putting on underground parties in 1996 and his funk-fuelled house style soon caught on and he became a regular at night likes Disco Diet and Fried Funk. He now hosts the weekly Macadam Music radio show and he joins Timo Garcia behind the decks - a member of the wicked Oven Ready crew. Timo will be serving up some funky, disco-tinged house before Going Places dynamic resident Tania von Pear throws down her inimitable brand of chunky and seriously funky house with a smattering of breaks thrown in for good measure. Meanwhile, Bruce Chapman gets the party off to a flier with the early warm up. Don’t miss it!!
