Label: Periodically Repeated Sequence (available @ Trackitdown.net)
Format: CD-R
Genre: Hard Trance

We've all heard of Trackitdown.net by now, and whether you love it or hate it, the on-line musical revolution has taken one step further. Someone else now taking notice of the downloadable digital media is a certain Mr Nick Rowland (aka The Coalition), bringing forth the first release of his new label Periodically Repeated Sequence. So, new label, new release, and a new way to get your mitts on it... but does the boy live up to expectations.....?

Was that really ever an issue?! Of course he does! Setting the pace for forthcoming releases, this baby starts off solid (not soiled) and just gets... erm.. more solid! Nice plump, punchy kicks, prominent hats, clean crisp percussion shaking like a shakey thing, and soon enough a warm deep rumbling bass. Sound good to you? Yeah, me too! Start layering up some juicy flanged leads, pulsing snares, and swarming fx that just spill about the track like Niagara Falls, and you've now got a taste of where this track is going... but maybe not quite. The delicate arpeggiated synth may lead you to think this is going to be the softer side of hard trance. Indeed, with the lush pads you could even be forgiven for thinking the word "euphoric"...... but scrap that - out of the break comes the rustiest, tetanus jab needing, carpenters rotating saw of a HARD trance riff, that explodes back into the track and carves a path forward to the end! This track rocks!!

If that didn't sound good enough for you, try to imagine the flawless production quality that you've come to know from this lad. And if that still isn't enough..... go listen for yourself!
