Russian label Quadrocore are a bit of a rarity. Their output is very low indeed, in fact so long passed from one release that I checked a few music sites to see if I'd been taken off their mailing list. Fortunately not! but with 7 releases in 2 years it shows they are particular about what they put out.
Their latest release is certainly one of the strongest and is just a lot of fun.
Clocking in at 139BPM it has a bubbly rolling bass line, lush synths and a building riff.
It's the riff, obviously, that does it. It's so cheerful. The other thing is unlike so many Trance tunes these days it doesn't go all over the place and sound like it is trying to hard.
It bounces along and you can't help but smile as it carries you along.
I normally prefer my Trance with a bit more depth but this is simplicity at its finest.
Nicely done.
