Agreed, I don't think he is making it up, out of all the people I have encountered in the world I think he is one of the most driven to push his opinion so it only makes sense he would try and get published. He wants people to follow him like dawkins. To understand what he is saying and drip off his every word. I just hope he has used HF as a bit of a barometer of how people respond to this sort of stuff and not ignored it all as "people who are ignorant and wrong", to write for people you have to understand how an audience will respond and HF actually gives a reasonably good indication of that with quite a few different personality types. To ignore that as a writer would be suicide unless of course you got off on all the people writing to you with rebuttals, sitting around gleefully writing emails to the early hours arguing a defence to your article without expanding but simply going over and over what you said originally hoping that they will fold eventually. As a factual writer you nearly always have to rewrite at a later date addressing peoples debates from your previous writing, this is a part of writing. Whether he has the capacity for that is undetermined, as he has not demonstrated a great capacity for it on here. Maybe he is different in his professional writing relationships though, time will tell I guess.

Look, I'm not saying DMX doesn't post interesting articles etc. All I remember is that when his Thesis was being discussed he said he couldn't disclose information on it due to some patent or something. However he still posted an abstract of his work, so why not know?

Surely an essay on the pros and cons of legalisation is slightly different to one defending his use of GHB.

Life is far too important to be taken seriously

So does LZ by the looks of things.

Wasn't ck the one who called up DMX on his medical software? Now she says we shouldn't goad DMX becasue he is writing an essay and prefers not to publish it on HF.

If he prefers not to publish it on HF then why all the hot air?

Yes I was, I was interested in it because it is something that would be used in my job. You however do this in nearly every thread he either starts or posts in.

I don't see the point in goading him about putting stuff on HF when he has already stated two reasons for not. Reminds me of school bullies really.

You, however, Midas, seldom argue a DMX post, preferring to jump straight in at personal level, and unfortunatley DMX is not mature enough to not react with his own "your mother" response. We are all still wondering why you two fell out spectacularly as you went from practically sucking each other off to pretty much biting each other's c0cks off.

Why are you adamant in turning this thread into yet another ck sorrow story?

And keep wondering, it’s none of your business.

Anyone can write an article and pitch it to a paper or magazine they just have to have the balls to do it

Doesn't she mean that literally anyone can submit whatever they like - not anyone is capable of actually writing anything of any significance or coherence?

That's exactly what she means. Meaning, no crednetials required.
